3D Object Capture

We have been working intensively with terrestrial laser scanning and high-precision structured light scanning for several years. Particularly in the field of archaeology and palaeontology, these offer unbeatable advantages over conventional methods of documentation and can co-exist very well with them or complement them.

One example of our 3D documentation is the conservation of the exhibition ‘Saved Gods’, which was on display at the Pergamon Museum in Berlin in 2011 and marked the provisional conclusion of the restoration project for the Tell Halaf artefacts. You can watch a fly-through of the Palace of Kapara here.

We cooperate with Breuckmann GmbH and Breuckmann 3D Engineering in Meersburg in the field of high-precision object detection with structured light scanners – together we can develop needs-orientated solutions and respond to individual customer requirements.
